In 2006 I brought the car to BlackRedGold's (BRG) Reunion car show at Lime Rock Park on Labor Day weekend. I won 3rd in the BMW category, which was extremely satisfying considering the other cars that were there, including a Porsche GT2 and Carrera GT on display under the BRG tents. Parked next to me was a gorgeus E24 635CSi dubbed "666CSi - Mental." This black beauty was built by Sports Car Restoration and sported a 700hp turbo M106 engine, with Fikse wheel under pulled fenders. The competition was tough!

Also going on at the same time was Lime Rock Park's annual Vintage Festival, and there seemed to be no end to the ridiculous, jaw-dropping collector's cars in all stages of restoration. If I let myself think about it, the amount of money represented by the cars in attendance was absolutely mind blowing! This was hands-down one of the most impressive shows that I have ever had the pleasure of attending.
